Lofi Psalms

This project was inspired by a conversation with my daughter one evening. She said she was feeling anxious, and to calm herself down she liked to put on some lofi music and read the psalms in her bedroom.

Having struggled with anxiety my entire life, my heart sunk knowing that my daughter was also struggling with the same thing, but at the same time I was encouraged to learn that she was finding comfort in one of my favorite books.

This sparked an idea to create a project consisting of meditations from the psalms, sung over lofi beats, and I enlisted the help of my daughter in choosing which psalms should feature on the project.

The result is Lofi Psalms Vol 1. We tried to keep the passages from the psalms as close to the original text as possible, and our hope and prayer is that it will bring peace and comfort to everyone who listens.
